What?
I am 31 years old...relatively healthy...never had sinus issues until about a year ago, but now, the Mother of all sinus infections has hit me HARD! I am off work for 12 days and I have spent most of them with a headache, sinus pressure and at least one nostril not open for air passage. WTH? I finally dragged both kids off to my Dr yesterday where I was put on a Zpack. With that name, I thought I'd be feeling better about 5 minutes after the first dose, but no, I feel the same 24 hours later. Only better...now I have a back ache to go with all the crap in my head. I have a husband off work today but he's fishing and two kids who are DYING to do something fun...Otterville (too loud), Wonderpark (too loud), the Zoo (too outside), Chuck E Cheese (no way in hell). I'm half tempted to try something new, like one of those places where you paint your own pottery and then can create something for New Years...but somehow I don't think Zac will go for that. Anyone want a 6 year old hyped up on candy and toys for the day? He is quite entertaining and FULL of energy!

Shopping
Why is it that when I WANT to shop and have money and all the time in the world I can find NOTHING, NOTHING to buy? I can roam around Kohls for an hour with money burning a hole in my pocket and sales in absolutely every square inch of the place, but I walk out with a wallet for my husband and underwear for me? Seriously, why? I looked at all the 70% of xmas crap thinking I would find lots of cute items for my house for next year, but nothing jumped out at me. Now, 3 days ago if I were to go there and see all that stuff at full price, I would have wanted it so badly. But no, I get underwear from the clearance rack, a wallet for Terry and head to Starbucks, where at least nothing there is on sale, so there's always something there I want!

If you're bad!
Hey all! REALLY long time since I posted. Too much has been happening! First of all, I am a BUS DRIVER!!!! I passed my test and have a CDL license and cart snotty, er precious cargo every morning and afternoon. So far I haven't had too many mishaps. There's a lot of routes that require you turn around en route...such as back the bus into a cemetery, or a street, or my favorite, in a ditch by a cliff (ok, I exagerrate, but it would be a far fall for a bus!) so that you can get back to school. FUN TIMES! Especially at 7am in the dark! So last week, I backed into this street which is literally at the edge of a railroad track and managed to get my bus into someone's yard! The kids got a BIG kick out of that, as did my boss. Apparently, everyone does that a time or two before they can do it blindly in the dark. Aren't you glad you and your kids don't live in Goshen? LOL!
We also discovered that Lillie is up on her Santa rules. Last week, amidst all the snotty noses and coughs at our house, Lillie told Zac that if he wasn't good, Santa would bring him a COLD! Very matter of factly!!!! I had to leave the room. Then when I could breathe again, I explained that he brings COAL, not a COLD! I guess we have all been bad to get this nasty beast of a cold that we have.
We hope you all have a Merry Christmas and that Santa brings you something other than a cold!
