Wow, where have I been?

I didn't realize I hadn't updated in so long, but it's not a popular site, more for my benefit than anything. I have been busy...not totally slacking. This week, I started training for my new job and painted the kitchen in the afternoons. See, I have accomplished something! So, with that said, what am I getting myself into? My new job....school bus driver....is going to be CRAZY!!!!! I started training this week and actually drove a bus today and Tuesday and it's so freakin' fun and terrifying all at the same time. Anyway, after I get the basics down and can pass the driving test and pre-trip test I will officially be a bus driver and have to put up with the horror stories of kids I have been hearing about. I cannot believe what I'm hearing from the other drivers....I know they are trying to make me realize that it's not going to be all "Driving Miss Daisy" but give a girl a break. Cussing, kids that don't listen, kids that hear you and choose not to obey, police, write ups. The other drivers are super nice and some are quite funny....it's going to be a great job. Any job that you can wear sweats to, is a great job! Any job that you can drag your kids along for the ride (no pun intended) and that's totally ok, is a great job!

So, that's my story. Thrilling as it is....new job and a nice "terra cotta" colored kitchen to boot! Maybe I'll update again before Thanksgiving! LOL!
