We have been off school now since Tuesday and the kids and I are going INSANE! INSANE! Insane!!!! And to top that, we are off tomorrow and Monday for the Presidents...go figure!Actually the kids are having a great time destroying what little housework I'm doing. So rather than clean, I decided to get the paint for the remainder of the downstairs and start painting! Baby steps, people, baby steps. I'm promising myself that I will finish the powder room (also known as the smallest room of the whole house) BEFORE I head to Amie's for an evening of wine tastings. I have 3 WHOLE days...lets see if I can make it. Then I just have the largest room of the whole house to complete and the downstairs will officially be done (minus touchups...which I think are dumb). Then I have a few rooms and two bathrooms upstairs to complete and I'm done. I, not we, I. Terry doesn't paint. I neglected to ask him that before I married him....twice.
Speaking of....13 years ago today (about an hour ago to be exact) Terry proposed to me in the gazebo in downtown Blue Ash. The gazebo is no longer there, but we're still together, so that's all that matters. 13 years....wow! Considering I'm only 31, that's quite a chunk of my life, don't ya think? So, he missed V day...only because he waited too long (which is completely typical of him) and couldn't get the financing done in time to get it on V day itself...so he got it the next day which is why February 15th is a much more special day than the 14th will ever be! So happy Feb 15th to all!!!!

The snow days were nice, but not! It got us out of the daily stuff, but they fighting was awful! Happy painting...look forward to seeing it tomorrow!
