I have decided to call myself the world's worst scrapper EVER! I have just spent two houre going thru a HUGE bag of photos. They are in no order, half of them aren't even in the "Walgreens" envelope that I brought them home in, and none of them are in a photo album of any kind. I must have a thousand plus pics, and no place to put them. I have 3 scrapbooks started though! Zac's first year, which was completed hastily so that it could be viewed at his gigantic first birthday party, one that starts to outline his second year of life, which goes to Christmas of 2001 (he was born in August 2000, so I scrapped his 1st birthday party, his Halloween and his Christmas morning and that is all, my friends!) and then Lillie's first year, which isn't even finished! I put together a few pages for her not so gigantic first birthday party, but she's about to turn 4 and has not one picture to show for it. I have the materials, I have the time (if I put down the remote and walk away from the computer....as if!) and I have the pictures, obviously! So what's wrong with me?
Tomorrow I will embark on the scrapbooking journey once again. I am going to the "Stamper of all stampers" house and she is going to help me. She'll probably RUN when she see's what she has to work with...so we'll see how good of a friend she really is. Picture this....a woman that never has a hair out of place, with a 4 year old that's smarter than most 10 year olds I know, again, without a hair out of place, that speaks very well, dresses well and is as organized as a library book shelf! Her house is well decorated and always in order, her car looks better than a model in the showroom (mine has not looked like a showroom car since it left the there...mine is more like the inside of a vacuum bag!) and her scrapbooks are up to date...can you believe that? I am not lying...up to date! Have you ever heard of such a thing?
So, I will scrapbook what I must and chuck the rest back into a bag until I can find a system that works well with my chaos. I'm thinking photo boxes...easy, somewhat organized, and doesn't require much time--that is if I don't have to put my photos in chronological order!
